MIT Artificial Intelligence Laboratoryの共同ディレクタ（1981年まで）。
1969年（41才）ミンスキー先生（11月24日）と共著で”Perceptrons”発刊。学習用ロボット”Logo Turtle” を開発。
1974年（46才）MITでCecil and Ida Green professor of education（1981年まで）
1980年（52才）”Mindstorms: Children, Computers, and Powerful Ideas”発刊。
1991年（63才）共著”Constructionism: research reports and essays 1985–1990″発刊。
